I discovered Jason after a friend recommended him following her successful journey of getting a good night’s sleep.  I had been miserable for months, probably even years, using all the tricks (and meds) that I could, and still  felt exhausted after a long night ‘fighting’ with my bed.  After my first week, I learned about sleep production… how much time does it take to get a ‘good night’s sleep’ and discovered my efficiency rate was 56%.  Jason walked me through the rules, encouraged me tremendously along the way, and within 6-8 weeks, I was sleeping, waking rested, and being productive during the day.  I learned several techniques for a good sleep, and watched as each week gave me more positive results.  At ‘graduation’ I was at 95% efficiency in my nightly sleep routine.  I am so very thankful for Jason and his desire to help people and do the research to make this happen.  It’s a game-changer.  I will admit that I still have some rough nights, but there is a certain comfort to knowing that there are strategies and techniques now to help me recover and get back on track.  I can’t recommend Jason’s therapy enough, as Jason says, you will hate him, but it will be worth it.

If you’re suffering from insomnia or having trouble sleeping, what would you be willing to do for a cure? About fifteen months ago, I was asked just that.  Having already introduced me to the benefits of Myofascial release, the Wim Hof method, diaphragmatic breathing, and other disciplines, my occupational therapist, Jason Tse, told me he could help me with my sleep. I’d have to be willing to comply with a strict sleep schedule which wasn’t going to be fun at first. Progress was slow at first, but after tracking my sleep and adhering to the schedule put forth, I was sleeping all night! That’s right, in seven weeks of sleep intervention, Jason took me from struggling to sleep even an hour or two, to sleeping eight hours a night consistently. Six months later I had to transition to the use of a BiPAP due to my medical condition.  However, much to my surprise and delight, I still sleep well even on my back with a BiPAP mask. I encourage everyone who knows the suffering of sleepless hours to try Jason’s methods with an open mind.  If you’re earnest, you will find the results to be miraculous.

Sincerely,

Kevin M Johnson

Until I met Jason, I was not aware of sleep restriction therapy and he educated me on it. First, he explained the importance of journaling my sleep habits to establish a baseline. Then, what I called "Coach J's Sleep Bootcamp" began. He made it fun, therapeutic, and engaging. He created an excel document so that I would easily visualize the triggers for my insomnia. Our follow-up therapy appointments were very insightful and I laughed through the growing pains of learning to re-establish good nights' sleep. Over several weeks, I quickly appreciated the need to restrict my sleep and then gradually increase the number of hours I can be in bed sleeping. He taught me the value of re-creating my bedroom as a divine space for sleep. I removed my TV from the bedroom and recreated it as my sleep sanctuary. I do not miss having electronics in my bedroom.

Because of Jason, I am, naturally using the lifelong sleep habits that he taught me and that I applied to overcome my insomnia.

I used to be in bed for hours a night and had zero (0) hours of sleep or only 2-3 hours of sleep. Now I am getting at least 7.5 hours of sleep. Jason's sleep restriction therapy works! Thank you, Coach Jason, for believing in me - Staying Strong!!!

With Deep Gratitude,
Tee
